Job Duties & Responsibilities

Our CDL Drivers handle every step of the delivery process — from pre-trip inspection to final drop — while upholding Midland Farms' standards for safety, sanitation, and customer service.

• 01Transport and deliver Midland Farms products to customers and store locations via drop-and-hook operations in an accurate, safe, and timely manner.
• 02Complete daily inventory, orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation as required.
• 03Process proper documentation using a computerized handheld device or paper format.
• 04Collect empty containers, rejected merchandise, or unsold product for return to the facility.
• 05Resolve delivery discrepancies and address customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• 06Verify shipment accuracy and confirm saleable condition of all product prior to delivery.
• 07Safely unload and deliver products at each account location.
• 08Communicate major issues or concerns directly to your Supervisor in a timely manner.
• 09Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment in and around the vehicle at all times.
• 10Consistently adhere to all safety, security, sanitation, and quality policies and procedures; report any deficiencies observed.
• 11Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections — including Pre- and Post-Trip inspections — in full conformance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• 12Maintain vehicle and hours-of-service logs as required by DOT regulations.
• 13Maintain a neat appearance, remain courteous toward customers, and work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors at all times.
